What a ride this Alabama baseball team has taken its fans on this year. Hosting their first regional since 2006 and punching their ticket to a Super Regional for the first time since the 2010 season. With plenty of ups and downs along the way this year, they’ve done it all, unified every step of the way.

“It's been awesome to see the way our university, our fanbase, our community has rallied around these guys”, said Alabama Interim Head Coach Jason Jackson.

“The love that we have for each other just because of all we've been through and just, everything we've been through this season I mean, we definitely care for each other a lot”, said Alabama pitcher Garret McMillian.

As for the Crimson Tide’s upcoming opponents this weekend in the Winston-Salem Super Regional, Wake Forest is the class of college baseball for the year 2023. The Demon Deacons have maybe the most dominant pitching staff in the country, paired with a lineup that seemingly has no weak spots .Sure, taking two of three from Wake is a daunting task, but this Alabama team isn’t backing down.

“Their starting rotation really jumps out at you. They have a couple guys that have a lot of home runs and they've been a really consistent team and they've been a really dominant team all year”, said Jackson.

“We've had to go on the road and play the No. 1 team probably two or three times this year. Honestly, if you think about it when you're around the SEC, I mean, it isn't anything that we haven't done before. It's going to be something we're ready for and something that we're excited for. I think we'll go out there and play our best game”, said McMillian.

“You know, the game is still 27 outs. They still have to get us out 27 times and the team that plays the best is going to make it to Omaha”, said Alabama outfielder Andrew Pinckney
