Pelham rail crossing maintenance resumes overnight

PELHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — The city of Pelham said maintenance on the single-track rail crossing on CR 52 will resume overnight Monday and into Tuesday.

The crossing was closed at 8:00 p.m.

The city said it was informed by CSX that the crossing will be repaved during the day tomorrow, with the goal of having the crossing back open before the evening rush Tuesday.

Detours are planned for Industrial Road in Alabaster or Hwy 261.
