A convenience store in Fultondale suffered some damage Saturday afternoon when a car crashed through the front doors.
Fultondale Fire and Rescue crews were dispatched to the 2500 block of Walker Chapel Road, nearby the department's station, on a call of a vehicle versus commercial structure. The department said it arrived within 30 seconds to find the car inside the store of a Chevron gas station.
No injuries were reported from the crash and city inspectors were called in to assess the damage to the building.
