Erin Wise

Erin Wise joined ABC 33/40 News in November of 2021 as a multimedia journalist.

Before coming to Birmingham, Erin worked at a Sinclair sister station in Macon, Georgia as the weekend anchor and multimedia journalist.

Erin graduated cum laude from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication paired with a minor in English in the Spring of 2019. Erin continued her education at Troy University and graduated with a Master of Science in Criminal Justice.

When Erin is not gathering news, she enjoys cheering on the Auburn Tigers, spending time with her family, and watching her guilty pleasure, reality TV.

Erin’s passions are people and making a genuine connection with the community that she serves. She looks forward to telling the best stories possible that benefit the great people of Central Alabama.
