Jeff Speegle

Jeff Speegle is the weeknight sports anchor at ABC 33/40, joining the team in 1996 when the station signed on the air. Jeff is a native of Alabama, "born and bred" as they say, in Cullman County. He's also worked as a sportscaster in Tuscaloosa and Huntsville.

Jeff is married to the former Julie Wilkerson of Cullman. It wouldn't surprise you to know that they met on the tennis courts and got married in 1983. Jeff and Julie are members of the Riverchase Church of Christ. They have two children; J. and Cara.

His sports passions are golf and basketball. His favorite sporting events are the Masters and the NCAA Basketball Tournament. What he loves best about his job is meeting new people, finding interesting stories and bringing those stories to you.
