Katherine Page

Katherine Page isn’t originally from the Birmingham area, but for decades, it has felt like a second home. After Hurricane Katrina hit her hometown in Mississippi, Katherine and her family adopted Hoover. For weeks, they stayed with a family friend and experienced the heart and hospitality this area is known for. Though she eventually moved back to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Katherine never forgot the natural beauty and generous spirit of the Birmingham area.

Katherine later returned to central Alabama when she attended The University of Alabama. There, she fell in love with Alabama football and learned how to use the term “Roll Tide” properly. She was fortunate to learn from some of the best in the business while pursuing a degree in journalism.

After graduation she moved to Georgia, where she went from reporting on weekends to anchoring a four-hour morning show to anchoring weeknight, prime-time newscasts south of Atlanta.

She and her husband were thrilled to move back to central Alabama in spring 2019, when Katherine became the breaking news anchor on ABC 33/40’s Good Morning Alabama. Three years later, she joined Talk of Alabama as host.
