A Kimberly man was killed in a crash on Interstate 65 in Jefferson County Tuesday afternoon.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said 45-year-old Jason E. Dodd was fatally injured when the pickup he was driving left the roadway and overturned. ALEA said Dodd was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash happened just before 4:30 p.m. near the 265 mile marker, about two miles south of Fultondale.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
