Three teenagers were shot early Tuesday morning in Birmingham.

According to a release from the Birmingham Police Department, officers were called to the 1400 block of 19th Place Southwest at approximately 4 a.m. on reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found two 16-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy all suffering from gunshot wounds.

All three boys were taken to the hospital. Their injuries are described as non-life-threatening.

The investigation indicates the boys were walking in the area when they were shot.

There is currently no one in custody.
